Trent Alexander-Arnold has denied Liverpool "cheated" in their Premier League victory against Newcastle on Thursday.
Goals from Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Alexander-Arnold helped the Reds recover from 1-0 down to secure all three points at Anfield.
The result leaves Liverpool second in the Premier League, one points behind leaders and champions Manchester City.
Jota's equaliser was controversial, as Newcastle midfielder Isaac Hayden was down in the six-yard box with a head injury.
Despite this, Alexander-Arnold believes his Liverpool team-mate was right to finish off the move and level the game.

"When the game is going on like that in their box, you’re not really looking round at who’s on the ground, who’s up," claimed the England international.
"You can’t, you’re looking for your teammates trying to score. Your eyes aren’t focused on the ground but if it’s head injuries it’s up to the referee to stop it.
"He didn’t and we played on until the whistle and scored and that’s all you can do. We haven’t cheated or done anything unsportsman-like, we’ve played to the whistle and scored from it."
On Liverpool's performance, Alexander-Arnold added: "I think we limited them to little chances, we kind of knew the game would flow like that.
"We’d dominate possession and they come and make it hard for us through counter-attacks and set pieces and things like that, so it was always going to be a difficult one for us and obviously them scoring an early goal made it harder.
"Disappointed with the clean sheet but three points this time of the season is vitally important."
On his goal, Alexander-Arnold said: "I’ve been waiting for that for five years now. I've had a few from the edge of the box and dragged them and things like that.
"I caught that one sweet and it nestled in the top corner. It was a clean strike and it put the game to bed."
Salah's goal against Newcastle equalled Jamie Vardy's Premier League record of scoring or assisting in 15 consecutive games.
On his Liverpool team-mate, Alexander Arnold said: "[Salah's the] best in the world right now, it goes without saying.
"He’s scoring or creating - doing everything - game in, game out.. he’s having an incredible season.

"He wants to break every record, but he wants to go on to put his name in the history books and he’s been doing that since the first season.
"He’s come in and he hasn’t took his foot off the pedal so he’ll be looking to break every record he can again."
On Man City's form, Alexander Arnold added: "Obviously you don’t want the teams around you to be doing well, but again the focus is on us.
"This time in the season it’s about making sure we’re consistent - winning every game we can - because the games come so thick and fast.
"Any minor slip could prove costly in come April/May, so it's about this time in the season picking up as many points as we can and that’s what we’ve been doing."
