Trent Alexander-Arnold admits he would be 'happy' to see Jadon Sancho sign for Liverpool

Trent Alexander-Arnold has said he would love it if "special talent" Jadon Sancho made the move to Liverpool.

The Borussia Dortmund star has been consistently linked with a return to England with the Reds rumoured to be one of the clubs interested in acquiring the 20-year-old.

Alexander-Arnold, who plays alongside Sancho for England, made the admission during an Instagram live with actor and rapper Michael Dapaah.

In the Q&A the right-back was asked who the most difficult winger is he has came up against was, to which he replied: "I'd probably say [Eden] Hazard."

Sancho, who was watching on, was then shouted out by Dapaah as the former Manchester City starlet was commenting with eyes emojis.

Alexander-Arnold then confirmed he had not yet played against Sancho.

The 28-year-old comedian then asked what Alexander-Arnold was making of the Sancho exit rumours and whether he would like him to sign for Liverpool.

"To us? Listen, Sancho is sick so if he came to us he would make our team better," the Champions League winner admitted.

"So, I'd be more than happy for him to come because I have played with him at England.

"He's a special, special, special, special talent."
