Western Bulldogs veteran Adam Treloar has been recalled among five changes for the injury-hit side's AFL clash with Melbourne, who have rested lively forward Latrelle Pickett.

Treloar, 33, returns for his second senior appearance of the season at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

James O'Donnell, Jordan Croft, Lachie Jacques and Luke Cleary were also included.

Defenders Bailey Williams and Jedd Busslinger are out with injuries, while Oskar Baker is among three omissions.

Young tall Louis Emmett was also dropped, and with Tim English still sidelined, key defender Rory Lobb was named as the lead ruckman to take on Melbourne captain Max Gawn.

Dynamic forward Pickett has been rested by the Demons after 10 consecutive games in his debut season, with young gun Caleb Windsor returning to the midfield after a toe injury.

Meanwhile, GWS have regained key defender Jack Buckley for their clash with the Brisbane Lions at the MCG on Sunday.

Conor Stone and Callum Brown have also been included, with James Leake and Harrison Oliver dropped and Ryan Angwin (hand) unavailable.

Ty Gallop and Will McLachlan return for the Lions, who have lost Ryan Lester (calf), while Cody Curtin has been dropped.

Lions veteran Dayne Zorko is still unavailable after he was managed last week.
