Treasure Hunters: Danger Down the Nile by James Patterson - review

James Patterson, Treasure Hunters: Danger Down the Nile

I loved the thrill of the adventure and hoped that Beck, Bick, Storm and Tommy would achieve their quest of finding their parents who disappeared while working as super secret spies and treasure hunters. Their family name is Kidds.

The Kidds do a great job in using all the skills that their parents taught them to find clues to help them work out how to get their parents back. They travel through many countries including Egypt and China.

I particularly liked the part when Guy Dubonnet Merck (one of the bad guys) broke through the door to chase after Aunt Bella Kilgore who flew out of the window with her CIA jet pack. The way in which the kids acted when they crossed paths with Merck was very funny.

James did a great job writing this book. But I wish he included the part rescuing the Kidds' parents.

It's a great book that is very descriptive and is hard to put down once you start to read it. I finished reading 450 pages in three days and would've finished it earlier had my mum not told me off for reading it while on holiday :)
