Travis singer Fran Healy had to undergo emergency surgery following a sausage dog attack that left him unable to play his guitar.
Fran, who showed fans footage of himself in his hospital bed ahead of the procedure, shared images of the x-ray, and his new bandages following the procedure to amend fluid on the joints and a possible torn tendon.
He admitted he'd been suffering ever since the attack which took place last month in the Hollywood Hills.
At the time, Fran had told his fans that he was still sore following the incident which happened after he tried to be a good Samaritan.
He said on October 14: "I was driving down my hill and as I rounded a corner there were 3 cars jackknifed and from the middle of the chaos ran a dachshund.
"So I jumped out and chased it up the hill. Cars bomb down our hill and it would have been toast. So I tried to pick it up and it mauled the s*** out my left hand.
"I held on, hoping to chuck it into our porch but then I slipped and it bolted off, leaving me p***ing blood all over the shop. So much blood."
He'd driven to 'Urgent Care on Selma' where he'd been cleaned up and had his finger patched up.
He also revealed the dog survived the ordeal and it turned out it lived in Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks' old house.
Now he's revealed the latest development with his hand, which has still not fully healed.
He said: "So the latest in my sausage dog saga. I was referred to a hand specialist because, despite the wound healing, I still couldn’t play D on my guitar.
"The middle finger on the left hand was sticking 1cm above the string. The Doc had me have an MRI which revealed fluid on the joints and possible torn tendon.
"So today I’m going in for emergency surgery to see what the damage is and to repair it. I’ll never look at a sausage the same way again."
After sharing the photos one fan joked: "So you're now Fran Healing? I'll show myself out."
