Travis Scott has reportedly canceled his upcoming gig at this weekend’s Day N Vegas Festival after eight people were killed at his Astroworld show Friday.
Scott was scheduled to headline the festival Saturday at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, but is “too distraught to play,” sources told Variety Monday.
A spokesman for Day N Vegas Festival did not immediately return the Daily News’ request for comment, but Scott is still listed on the concert’s website.
Like Astroworld, Day N Vegas is general admission, leaving fans to fight their way to better views.
Scott has spoken out publicly twice since Friday’s show, saying he was “absolutely devastated” by the eight deaths.
“Any time I can make out anything that’s going on, I’d stop the show and help them get the help they need, you know?” the rapper said in an Instagram video Saturday night. “I could never imagine this situation.”
At least three lawsuits have been filed against Scott so far, alleging negligence as he continued performing despite the deadly chaos growing on the ground below.
The 30-year-old rapper plans to refund tickets for everyone who attended Astroworld, according to Variety.
