Taking to her Instagram handle, Nicole posted a video of Ice Cube performing “It Was a Good Day” at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ championship celebration, adding the caption “Mood”. It wasn't long before some followers speculated that the post was a subtle diss following Kelce’s publicized appearance with his pop-superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift at a New York Yankees game.
Swift and Kelce’s relationship has become a subject of high interest, especially as engagement rumours heat up by the day. At the game, the couple was even seen engaging in light public displays of affection, sharing drinks and stealing kisses.
While some social media users interpreted Nicole’s post as a reaction to her ex's new romance, others believe such conclusions may be an overreach.
As Kelce and Swift continue to fuel engagement speculations with their many appearances together, sources close to the couple reportedly told Page Six that an engagement could be on the horizon. Kelce, a Super Bowl champion, is nearing the latter stages of his NFL career, leading some insiders to believe he may soon be ready to settle down.
Meanwhile, other reports claimed that a detailed prenup is partly a reason for the delayed engagement, considering that Taylor hit Billionaire status while Travis signed a multi-million dollar deal extending beyond professional football.
