Travis Barker's daughter Alabama takes fans inside newlywed dad's luxury private jet

Travis Barker's daughter Alabama gave fans an exclusive look into her Dad's private jet as the pair - along with other family members - flew to Italy for Travis' wedding to Kourtney Kardashian.

The Kardashians are well known for their jet-setting lifestyles with appearances around the globe, but Blink 182 star Travis is a much less frequent flyer after surviving a horrifying plane crash in 2008.

The incident left the drummer with burns to 65% of his body and PTSD.

After sharing the footage on her TikTok account - which included Travis sat using his phone behind a luxury plate of fruit and cheese and later sleeping on several seats that had been converted into a bed - fans were quick to express their delight at seeing Alabama's Dad flying again.

One user wrote: "Amazing to see your Dad not only on a plane again, but calm enough to sleep."

Another added: "The respect I have for that man after all his tragedies. He still manages to fly. I know I wouldn’t be able to. Bless him."

A third responded: "I love that your dad is comfortable enough now on a plane to sleep. Prayers answered!"

Travis was famously on board a private Learjet plane 13 years ago headed for LA from Columbia, South Carolina that failed to take off.

With a loss of pressure, the tyres blew as it took off. Aborting the lift-off, the plane veered off the end of the runway and smashed through a fence before bursting into flames.

As well as the two pilots, Travis assistant Chris Baker and security guard Charles "Che" Still were killed.

His best friend Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein survived, but died of an overdose a year later as he struggled to come to terms with the impact of the event.

Recalling the horror in 2019 on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast Travis said: "When I jumped through the emergency exit when the plane blew up, I was in such a hurry to exit the plane I jumped right into the jet, which is full of fuel.

"My whole body lit up. I had jet fuel in my whole body. I burped jet fuel for almost three months.

"When I jumped into the jets … I started running … I was ripping off my clothes because that's what my instinct told me to do … but little did I know I was still on fire because I was soaked in jet fuel."

He continued: "My right foot almost didn't make it. That was the thing that was most soaked was my shoes and socks.

"I was running towards a highway and I hear some guy yelling, 'Stop, drop and roll', and I heard it through all the chaos of sirens and everything.

"I stopped, dropped and rolled, and the only thing still on fire was my feet. So they were on fire the longest."

The crash left him in hospital for 11 weeks where he needed 27 bouts of surgery and skin grafts.

He continued: "After my accident … I was four months in a hospital being fed morphine every day.

"When I was in the hospital, I was on so many drugs I didn't even know my two friends had passed away. I didn't know the pilots had passed away. I didn't remember anything."
