Travelodge's new sale includes £29 rooms in Cornwall and Devon for summer

Travelodge has launched a huge new sale with two MILLION rooms going for £29 a night or less, including the summer holidays.

That means families who share a room can bag breaks from £7.25pp a night to the likes of the Cotswolds, Cumbria, Cornwall, Devon and Dorset, to name a few.

There are also some tempting city break destinations on offer, whether you're looking at a seaside break in Brighton or Blackpool, or want to go exploring the likes of Bath and London.

(You can check out the full list of destinations below).

There's a generous window of travel dates to choose from too, with the deals valid on stays between August 3, 2021, and June 20, 2022.

You can already book them on the Travelodge website but it's worth noting that they are subject to availability.

One of the easiest ways to find the cheapest rates is to use Travelodge's price finder tool - simply search for your chosen location, and change the price range to be a maximum of £29. You may need to be flexible with your dates if you're looking to bag the cheapest fares.

Don't be disheartened if you can't quite make the deals work for you - there are plenty more ways to find Travelodge discounts for 2021 and 2022.

The new sale comes after research from the budget hotel chain uncovered some of the UK's best 'doppelganger' destinations.

With uncertainty around travelling abroad it's no surprise that there's been a surge of Brits opting for staycations, especially as there are some destinations that could easily match iconic spots from around the world.

For example if you want to see the Northern Lights you don't need to head to the likes of Norway and Canada - Cairngorms National Park in Scotland is actually one of the UK destinations where you can watch the Northern Lights.

Meanwhile hikers who have the Great Wall of China on their bucket lists can still get their fair share of history and beautiful views courtesy of Hadrian's Wall, which stretches across 73 miles coast to coast.

For beautiful lakes, who needs Italy when you can head to the Lake District, where spots such as Windermere and Derwentwater have been attracting adventurers for years.

Meanwhile, those heading to Brighton will want to check out The Royal Pavilion, where the impressive architecture bears a striking similarity to that of the Taj Mahal in India.
