Travelodge logo is blowing people's minds after thinking it was 'some hills at sunset'

Logos are often the most recognised thing about a brand - from cars to shops and clothing ranges.

But sometimes you just don't pay too much attention or look closely enough at what it actually is.

This was the case for one man who has been blowing people's minds by revealing what the Travelodge logo really is.

The budget hotel chain uses a red, purple and blue logo which often people assume is a sunset.

But they couldn't be more wrong, the Mirror reports.

A video posted to TikTok, by a user named Marcel who posts under @mrcel07, shared a close up shot of the logo in the footage taken outside of a Travelodge hotel.

A voiceover asks viewers: "How old were you when you realised the Travelodge logo is people sleeping under a duvet?"

The short clip has been viewed more than 130,000 times and has racked up comments from people who are completely baffled.

"Today years old. I thought it was just some hills at sunset omgggg," one person replied.

Can you see it now? (PA)

Another said: "What.. I never knew this."

"Now I see it I can't unsee it am 24 and I've only just found this out," a third added.

A fourth, who wasn't along in their thoughts, added: "I thought it was a mountain."

"I THOUGHT IT WAS HILLS AND A SUNSET MY WHOLE LIFE BYEEEEEE," another stunned viewer commented.

Well, you learn something new every day.

And it's not the first time a logo has got people talking.

Last year a shopper had her mind blown during visit to The Range, after she noticed a 'hidden message' in its logo.

Posting on Facebook at the time, the shopper said: "So I blew my own mind today. I realised that the range has an R in an orange circle as their logo, but I can’t unsee it as saying anything other than orange now??

"Has it been called the orange all along and we’ve not noticed? Honestly I am baffled. Someone please explain this to me and restore my faith in humanity."
