Travellers have been spotted parking caravans on a Liverpool road and letting 'ponies run around' on the grass.
It comes just days after a traveller camp caused a car park and a swimming pool at Southport's Splashworld to close, with police called to the area amid allegations of threats and anti-social behaviour.
The traveller camp moved on Wednesday and one witness said hours later they were spotted on Sugarbrook Drive, Croxteth .
An ECHO reader said a group 'have based themselves in the park next to fishing lake next to the DPD warehouse, they have blocked the path ways with cars and vans and now have ponies running around'.
Pictures taken by an ECHO photographer show caravans at the site but no ponies were visible at the time.
A Liverpool City Council spokesman said the council had been in contact with the landowner and the police about the travellers.
He said: “City Council officers have been out to the site of the unauthorised encampment and conducted a welfare visit. Officers have spoken to the people at the site in a bid to determine their intentions
“We have established ownership of the land and made contact with the landowner. The landowner has now set the wheels in motion to have the encampment removed as soon as possible.
“In the meantime we are working closely with Merseyside Police to monitor the situation and ensure that any potential impact on the local community and businesses is minimised
