Travellers evicted after pitching up at Nottingham community centre site

Travellers have been evicted from the site of a community centre in Nottingham.

At least eight caravans had pulled up onto green space at Birchover Community Centre in Bilborough.

They were seen at the site on Thursday night (July 2).

An eyewitness at the field told Nottinghamshire Live the travellers had dogs tied up at the site.

Nottingham City Council confirmed the travellers had been served an eviction notice earlier on Friday July 3. They had left the site by around 12.30pm on Friday.
