Traveller hostel in Llandudno has gone on the market

A traveller hostel in the seaside resort of Llandudno has gone up for sale.

The long leasehold interest for the Llandudno Hostel is on the market, off a guide price of £495,000.

The current owners James and Melissa Powell purchased the building in 2002, choosing to run it as a hostel.

They are selling for family reasons.

Lesley Watmough, from leisure property specialists Fleurets, said: “The property is in the town centre and provides 11 letting rooms.

"With a turnover of £145,000, high profit margins and strong forward bookings, this offers a great opportunity for somebody looking for fun-loving outdoor orientated clients, working in a highly rewarding environment and with an opportunity for financial growth by extending the existing food and beverage market."

The property also has two further staff rooms, a lounge bar as well as a dining area with space for up to 50 covers.

James Powell said: "Our aim is to provide exceptional quality accommodation at an affordable price, providing bed and continental breakfast with excellent customer service - this makes a profitable business with a strong repeat customer base."
