Traveller camp pitches up next to schools in Nailsea

Travellers have set up camp on a green next to two schools in Nailsea.

Six caravans, two cars and one van were seen on Wednesday (June 26) by Kingshill Church Primary School and Ravenswood Special School on Pound Lane.

It is believed the travellers pitched up on the grassy area on Tuesday.

North Somerset Council, Kingshill Church School and Ravenswood School have been approached for comment.
