Two roads that were closed by police after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash have been reopened.
Police sealed off roads in the Field Lane and Lansdown Close area of Chilwell while investigations continued into the crash, which took place at around 2.40pm on Monday (May 31).
There was expected to be traffic disruption while emergency services worked at the scene.
The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The roads were reopened at around 7.50pm on Monday evening, police confirmed.
Sergeant Craig Luckett, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are working hard to understand exactly what happened. If you witnessed this incident or saw a motorcycle travelling in the Field Lane area immediately before the collision please call us on 101, quoting incident 423 of 31 May 2021.
"We’d also like to hear from any drivers who may have recorded dash-cam footage or any local residents who may have CCTV footage which could help us with our investigation."
