Travel firm recruiting for agents to work from home - with a chance to earn £100,000 a year

One of the UK's biggest High Street travel firms is looking for staff - who can work from home.

Hays Travel is looking to recruit people who are passionate about travel to cope with the expected surge in demand for holidays as coronavirus lockdown restrictions are relaxed.

Jobs are open to anyone regardless of experience, but successful applicants must have exceptional customer service skills, a lively personality, and the ability to build rapport with customers.

Consultants can work as much or as little as they wish, with some of the most successful earning up to £100,000 in a year, reports the LiverpoolEcho.

Irene Hays, co-owner and chair of Hays Travel, said: "We know that Covid-19 means that many people are considering their work options right now.

"Some people have enjoyed the benefits of working from home, while others may be looking for a complete change of career.

“Being a Hays Travel self-employed personal travel consultant means you can work at home with all the flexibility that brings, but you are never alone, because you have our experienced teams right beside you.”

There are different packages available, depending on a candidate's experience.

For those new to the industry, the Hays Travel Academy provides a comprehensive training programme, and everyone is provided with their ‘business in a box’ including the technology and equipment to set up.

There is also ongoing support and one-to-one coaching for all homeworkers from Hays Travel professionals in sales, marketing and personal development.

Collette Muscatelli, Liverpool, personal travel consultant at Hays Travel said: “Starting as a PTC at Hays Travel was the best decision I ever made.

"The support I am given by the Hays team is amazing, they are always by your side and ready to help.”

As well as expanding the homeworking division, Hays Travel continues to recruit experienced travel agents as well as apprentices for roles in shops across the UK and at the Head Office in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
