Travel chaos for Glasgow passengers as Flybe cancels dozens of flights across UK

More than 20 flights have been cancelled by the airline Flybe this morning, including services to and from Glasgow.

Two flights are known to have been cancelled from Glasgow Airport so far, with the company saying the cancellations are for "operational reasons".

Passengers received texts and emails this morning informing them of the cancellations across the UK.

Last month, an agreement was made for Flybe to be sold to Connect Airways - a consortium which includes Virgin airline.

On Monday, passengers with the airline on the 18:40 service from Newquay to Heathrow were left with a six-hour journey time when the aircraft was grounded due to a "technical issue".
