Trapeze lessons in the Royal Parks: Londoners get into the swing of aerial acrobatics

Daredevils have been getting into the swing of the trapeze with lessons in London’s Royal Parks.

Gorilla Circus Flying Trapeze School is teaching the aerial acrobatics in Regents Park and Kensington Gardens.

Brave students aged eight to 78 have already taken part, plunging on the swing from a seven-metre-high platform.

Students practice a simple trick on our low bar, then attempt the trick on the flying trapeze and towards the end of the class get caught by an instructor on a separate swinging bar.

The school is running two-hour trick classes in the parks every day until the second week of September.

The classes run until September 8 at Regent's Park and September 9 at Kensington Gardens.
