South Australia has recorded a fresh coronavirus case in another transport worker, after a Victorian man in his 20s tested positive at a checkpoint.
SA Health says the man, a commercial transport worker, was travelling through the state to get into Western Australia on Saturday.
He tested positive at the Yamba checkpoint and is currently being escorted to Adelaide by SA Police, where he will be placed into hotel quarantine.
"The investigation is underway, however currently no public exposure sites have been identified," SA Health said in a statement on Saturday afternoon.
It comes after a truck driver in his 60s, who lives in Adelaide, tested positive at a checkpoint at Yamba on Thursday night as he crossed into SA from NSW.
Five exposure sites have been identified for that case.
Meanwhile, a Virgin Australia flight attendant in his 40s has tested positive for coronavirus.
SA Health says the man was infectious when he worked on flight VA219 from Melbourne to Adelaide on October 4.
The state's health authorities have sent a text message to 25 passengers who were on the flight, with individuals being called to determine quarantine and testing arrangements.
"Given the flight was travelling from Victoria, all passengers were required to quarantine for 14 days on arrival," SA Health said.
"The case did not enter Adelaide Airport and no further exposure locations will be listed."
