Transport police looking for help following violent disorder in East Kilbride

British Transport Police have launched an appeal for information following “violent” disorder on a Glasgow to East Kilbride train.

Officers this week released images of three individuals they would like to speak to following the incidents on September 7, which also spilled over at Hairmyres station.

The incidents are said to have happened on board the 11.15pm Glasgow Central to East Kilbride ScotRail service and at the station.

Anyone with information should contact British Transport Police by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

Information can also be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
