Translink has announced that full timetables will be restored on the Belfast to Dublin Enterprise trains next week.
The full Enterprise timetables will return from Monday, August 31 which Translink say will offer customers 'more choice of travel times and help to facilitate social distancing on board'.
They say the decision to reinstate Enterprise timetables is due to passenger demand with additional services to the summer timetable, which was influenced by Covid-19 travel restrictions.
A spokesperson for Translink said: "There will now be eight Enterprise services in each direction Monday to Saturday, with the reinstatement of the 6.50am 4.05pm and 8.05pm from Belfast and the 9.30am, 1.20pm and 8.50pm from Dublin.
"The normal Sunday timetable of five Enterprise trains in each direction remains in place.
"There is no catering on board until further notice. However, passengers can avail of an upgrade to Enterprise Plus seating at a cost of £10 per journey which offers a fully adjustable seat with lumbar support and extra legroom."
Translink say they have a number of restrictions in place and reminded customers that face coverings are mandatory.
"We have a range of measures in place to enable us to travel safely together. Face coverings are mandatory on public transport services in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Rigorous deep cleaning regimes are applied to our trains and mobile cleaning teams are working throughout the day to keep multi-touch points clean.
"We still need to practice the wider safety and travel advice including good hand hygiene, using contactless payments, travelling off peak and observing social distance. Full details of our Covid-19 safety measures are available on our website.
