A van driver has died after a crash in mid Wales.
The incident happened on Thursday night on the B4569 between the villages of Caersws and Trefeglwys in Powys.
At around 10.30pm, a silver Ford Transit van - the only vehicle involved in the incident - crashed off the road as it was travelling westbound towards Trefeglwys.
The driver of the van, who police have confirmed was a man in his 30s, died at the scene from his injuries.
His next of kin have been informed and his family is being supported by specialist officers from Dyfed-Powys Police.
The force has now launched an appeal and is asking anyone with information regarding the fatal crash to contact them either online, by e-mailing 101@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101.
