Transfer target hailed as 'world class' with Chelsea set for Manchester United battle

Jadon Sancho’s teammate Emre Can has hailed the winger as ‘world class’ after the England international’s breakout season with Borussia Dortmund.

The 20-year-old joined the German club in 2017, but since the departure of Christian Pulisic to Chelsea the winger has become the main man with the club.

Sancho has netted 14 Bundesliga goals and added 15 assists to his name, getting two apiece in the Champions League on top.

And now, it’s expected that Sancho will move from Dortmund and potentially head back to England, with the Blues and Manchester United keen on him.

The transfer could well cost one of the clubs in the region of £100million, but Can believes Sancho has turned into a world-class player.

“I knew he was a very good player even before I joined Dortmund,” the former Liverpool midfielder told German publication Bild.

“But since I’ve arrived, I’ve found out that he’s world-class and maybe the best player of his age.

“He has everything a top footballer needs and has a great future ahead of him.”
