Transfer rumours: West Brom bid rejected, Sheffield Wednesday eye League One defender

West Brom fall short

West Brom have fallen short in their bid to land Brentford star Romaine Sawyers.

The Baggies, who have already been busy in this market, submitted a £2.5 million bid.

But the Bees value Sawyers at £3 million or more, rejecting West Brom’s bid.

QPR and Wednesday eye League One defender

Rotherham United defender Cark Robertson is attracting the attention of two Championship clubs.

QPR and Sheffield Wednesday are both reportedly keen on a move for the centre-back.

Robertson has been with the Millers since making the move from Blackpool in 2018.

Hoops accept Baggies bid

Queens Park Ranger have accepted a £1.5 million bid for youngster Darnell Furlong .

The 23-year-old made 29 appearances in all competitions last season, continuing his first-team involvement having come through the academy at Loftus Road.

But he is now set to move to The Hawthorns with the player now in talks over personal terms.

Blackburn close in on City youngster

Blackburn Rovers are closing in on a loan deal for Manchester City youngster Tosin Adarabioyo.

The England youth international is expected to complete his loan move to Ewood Park in the near future.

Adarabioyo made 27 appearances during his loan spell with West Brom last season.
