Liverpool enjoyed success in the Champions League this year and their quest to end their league title drought in 2019 will be bolstered by the arrival of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig. He will not be the last new face on Merseyside, however, with Monaco's Fabinho already in. Stoke's Xherdan Shaqiri could be next. At United Jose Mourinho looks set to spend big again as he targets reinforcements in his bid to haul in record-breaking Manchester City next season. A new left-back and central midfield player are high on his list with a big money move for Real Madrid's Gareth Bale not out the question. Could Cristiano Ronaldo join him?
For the first time in over two decades Arsenal head into the offseason with a new manager at the helm. That man is former PSG boss Unai Emery after a stunning 11th hour change of heart at the Emirates and he already has one new signing and plenty more on the way with a new goalkeeper and central midfielder next on his shopping list. Chelsea could well be looking for a new manager themselves but across London Mauricio Pochettino won't be leaving Tottenham Hotspur after signing a new five-year deal.
We will have all the latest news, views, rumours, gossip and done deals right here so don't touch that dial.
Arsenal are monitoring Borussia Dortmund'sMario Gotze after the midfielder signalled he wants to move to the Premier League, the Daily Mirror reports. The 26-year-old scored Germany's World Cup-winning goal in Brazil in 2014, however an English club could land him for a reasonable £18million. Everton and West Ham are also said to be keeping tabs on Gotze, who missed out on selection for Russia.
With Arsenal closing in on their third signing of the summer in Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira, the midfielder spoke about his projected move to the Emirates following Uruguay's 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia.
Tottenham are believed to be keen on Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba, but the Spain international has said that he has no plans to leave the Nou Camp and that he will stay their for life - if they want him.
Asked if he was on his way to White Hart Lane, Alba said:
No, no, I'm very good at Barca. If it were up to me, I would stay at Barcelona all my life.
But it does not depend on me but on what the club wants. It also depends on my performance, which this season has been very good, but I do not see myself outside of Barcelona.
It seems plenty of European clubs have decided to use today to announce their latest piece of transfer business, with Roma becoming the next to reveal their newest acquisition.
That man is Argentina midfielder Javier Pastore, who joins the Italian club from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee believed to be around £17.5m.
And as usual, Roma have gone for their own, unique way of announcing the deal...make of this what you will.
Marouane Fellaini has confirmed that he will make an announcement on Sunday about his future plans, with the Belgium midfield set to become a free agent as his Manchester United contract expires at the end of the month.
United have attempted to keep Fellaini after offering him a contract extension earlier in the year, but the midfielder has also received a number of offers - including one from Premier League rivals Arsenal - about joining on a free transfer.
With interest in him also coming from Italy, it appears likely that Fellaini will be on his way out of Old Trafford.
Maurizio Sarri's revamp at Chelsea, should he replace Antonio Conte as expected, could see Alvaro Morata moved on after just one season at Stamford Bridge.
According to German newspaper Bild, Borussia Dortmund are keen on the striker, who missed out on a place in Spain's World Cup squad this summer.
Having already taken Michy Natshuayi on loan from the Blues, Dortmund are known to have good relations with Chelsea, but their £45m valuation is set to be a stumbling point.
Jose Mourinho is reported to be interested in a reunion with Chelsea winger Willian, according to the Daily Mail.
Manchester United are preparing a £60m bid for the Brazil international who has been at Stamford Bridge since 2013, scoring 25 times in 166 appearances.
Another World Cup star being linked with Spurs is Croatia's Ante Rebic.
The 24-year-old featured in Croatia's brilliant victory over Argentina, and German newspaper Bild claim that Tottenham are keen to land the Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder this summer.
With Rebic valued at just over £26m, it looks like a deal that could well happen.
Liverpool are circling Tottenham and Aston Villa as the clubs barter over Jack Grealish,The Sun says.
Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy is said to be keeping their offer at £20million, despite Villa valuing the midfielder at £40million.
The Championship club are making hard financial decisions in the wake of their failed promotion bid and are said to be holding out to cash in on the promising playmaker.
The deadlock over Mauricio Pochettino's top pick is said to have attracted attention from Liverpool, who are said to be prepared to pay more than Spurs are willing to part with.
Grealish, 22, played for England Under-21 and is tipped for his senior call-up this year.
Manchester City meanwhile are closing in on their first signing of the summer, with the move to land Napoli midfielder Jorginho currently stalling as the two clubs haggle over his valuation.
However, the player's agent, Joao Santos, has told Italian radio that a "verbal agreement" is in place with City and that the move could go through next week if talks progress smoothly.
Santos told Calcio Napoli 24 Live:
Jorginho is now in Fortaleza with his family on vacation. In football you need signed documents, without this you can do little.
We have a verbal agreement with City, now we are waiting for Napoli to find the agreement and Manchester [City] to define the deal. Everything depends on this aspect, next week could be the one.
Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is close to resolving his future, with the Belgian out of contract at Old Trafford and considering an offer from Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Fellaini is currently on World Cup duty in Russia and is likely to face England on Thursday in their final Group G encounter, but his club future remains a pressing concern as he is yet to commit to a new club for next season.
He told The Independent in the wake of Belgium's victory over Tunisia that he expects to make an announcement in the near future, with all the details here:
The IndependentThe Belgian failed to agree on a new deal at Old Trafford after holding out for wages north of £125,000 per week and has been linked with a move to rivals Arsenal
Liverpool are close to unveiling midfielder Naby Keita as their latest signing, nearly one year after agreeing a deal to land the Guinea international from RB Leipzig.
The club are preparing to announce his arrival in the coming days where it will be confirmed what shirt number he will wear at Anfield, and it's being widely speculated that Steve Gerrard's famous No 8 shirt is being reserved for him.
Another player that United are being linked with this morning is Valencia full-back Jose Luis Gaya, who may just be the answer to Jose Mourinho's problems on the left.
Luke Shaw has failed to come on as hoped and while Ashley Young has impressed as a makeshift left-back, it's no surprise that Mourinho wants reinforcements in the position. Having cooled their interest in Juventus defender Alex Sandro due to the Italian club's asking fee, The Mirror reports that Gaya has emerged as the leading contender to move to Old Trafford this summer.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all increasing their interest in France striker Kylian Mbappe, who could be on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain after just one season.
Mbappe only joined PSG on loan last summer before making the move from Monaco permanent this year, yet The Mirror claims that both Manchester clubs are ready to enter the race to land the highly-rated teenager along with Champions League winners Madrid.
With Mbappe currently in Russia helping France's World Cup campaign, any resolution looks a long way off, meaning we might just have a fresh transfer saga on our hands.
Arsenal's third summer signing - a 30 million euro (£27m) deal for Sampdoria defender Lucas Torreira - is all but confirmed.
The Serie A club's president, Massimo Ferrero, let slip live on Italian television that the Uruguay international's departure was happening.
Torreira, 22, joined Sampdoria in 2015 from Pescara for a reported 1.5 million euros (£1.32m).
Ferrero is said to have let the cat out of the bag while discussing how the club uses the transfer market to make handsome sums by developing players - and they do not sell unless they get "excellent offers".
Torreira would follow Juventus' Stephan Lichtsteiner and Bayer Leverkusen's Bernd Leno in moving to the Emirates as part of Unai Emery's pre-debut overhaul.
It's also claimed that Lyon are preparing to make Nabil Fekir a new contract offer in order to end speculation about his future this summer, according to The Mirror.
Manchester United are also said to have been contacted by Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas, through Jose Mourinho, regarding the future of midfielder Nabil Fekir.
Liverpool came within a whisker of signing Fekir before the World Cup only for the deal to collapse, and while it's widely believed that the Reds remain interested in the France international, he has been offered out to other clubs who are willing to meet his valuation.
Given how the talks with Liverpool unfolded, Lyon could well choose to sell to United in order to get one over the Merseyside club, and Aulas has claimed that he has spoken to Mourinho wile out in Russia.
Here's a bit more information on those reports surrounding Paul Pogba.
According to The Sun, United have not expressed their interest in selling Pogba. Instead Paris Saint-Germain believe that they can tempt the Premier League side into letting him go this summer in return of Marco Verratti, with the Ligue 1 side also adding a cash sum to the offer to sweeten the deal.
It's not yet known what Verratti would favour given that reports in Italy claim he is close to signing a new contract with PSG, but with Pogba's future very much up in the air right now it seems PSG have chanced their arm to see whether he can be prised away from Old Trafford.
Riyad Mahrez remains a transfer target for Manchester City, but any move is currently being put off due to the Algeria midfielder's pay-off fee that he is asking for to leave Leicester.
Mahrez has attempted to force through a move to the Etihad twice in the last year, only for the Foxes to block any transfer, but The Sun claims that he could finally be on his way once terms are agreed on his severance deal.
