Welcome to the Evening Standard’s LIVE coverage of the summer transfer window.
We lead on the news that Arsenal are set to confirm the signing of Nicolas Pepe from Lille.
The Gunners are parting with a fee of £72million for the Ivorian, that will be paid in instalments over a number of years, and he has agreed terms on a five-year contract.
Menwhile, Man Utd and Juventus have opened talks over a possible swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala.
Standard Sport understands that negotiations are also ongoing with Inter Milan, who have already seen a £54million bid for Lukaku rejected this month.
But United’s interest in Dybala has added another dimension to one of the transfer sagas of the summer.
We’ll also bring you the latest on Tottenham following Mauricio Pochettino’s quotes yesterday, plus the rest of the talk from the window
