Transfer news, rumours LIVE: Man Utd eye record Griezmann bid, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham gossip

Welcome to the Evening Standard’s LIVE blog dedicated to the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip.

Having completed the signing of Dan James from Swansea, Manchester United are looking to considerably up the stakes by making a late bid to hijack Barcelona's move for Antoine Griezmann.

The Sun report that the Red Devils are ready to make a club-record £95million offer for the coveted French playmaker, who has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain having confirmed his intention to leave Atletico Madrid after five years this summer.

Elsewhere, Liverpool have revived their pursuit of Nabil Fekir, according to French publication Le Progres, with an upcoming summer friendly between the Reds and Lyon potentially holding the key to that deal.

Tottenham's move for one of Fekir's club team-mates - Tanguy Ndombele - is being complicated by the small matter of the player's €75m price tag, say The Guardian, while The Mail claim that Chelsea will not allow Maurizio Sarri to leave for Juventus until their demands over compensation are met.

Le10 Sport say that Arsenal are negotiating with Saint Etienne for William Saliba, but could be scuppered by a lack of funds.

We’ll bring you today's football gossip and the latest from Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, West Ham, Man City, Barcelona, Real Madrid and more over the course of the window…
