Transfer news, rumours LIVE - Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus latest, Manchester United change plans, Arsenal in midfield talks, Liverpool gossip, updates

The Premier League’s summer transfer window is open with Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal set to be busier than ever.

Liverpool enjoyed success in the Champions League this year and their quest to end their league title drought in 2019 will be bolstered by the arrival of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig. He will not be the last new face on Merseyside, however, with Monaco's Fabinho already in. Stoke's Xherdan Shaqiri could be next or even Real Madrid's Marco Asensio? At United Jose Mourinho looks set to spend big again as he targets reinforcements in his bid to haul in record-breaking Manchester City next season. He's got Fred but another central midfield player is high on his list with a big money move for Gareth Bale not out the question. Could Cristiano Ronaldo join him?

For the first time in over two decades Arsenal head into the offseason with a new manager at the helm. That man is former PSG boss Unai Emery after a stunning 11th hour change of heart at the Emirates and he already has two new signings and plenty more on the way with a new central midfielder next on his shopping list. Chelsea are close to appointing a new manager themselves but across London Mauricio Pochettino won't be leaving Tottenham Hotspur after signing a new five-year deal.

We will have all the latest news, views, rumours, gossip and done deals right here so don't touch that dial.

Now this is an interesting one.

We've brought you the latest on Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Juventus, and while nothing had been confirmed yet, it looks as though there will be a development in this saga sooner rather than later.

But few of us expected that development to be about Ronaldo's pant...

His CR7 underwear range has had an online update, and the new banner looks suspiciously like the Juventus colours, while a separate image of the Allianz Stadium has also been uploaded.

Could an announcement be imminent?

One club who will have a big say on how the summer transfer window plays out is Paris Saint-Germain. They could yet choose to sell one of Neymar or Kylian Mbappe if Real Madrid come calling, and if they do they will be armed with more money than ever before and ready to bring in their next big-name signing.

That man, according to Goal, is Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante, but the France international is being valued at £100m if he is to leave the club this summer.

14:00
There were rumours, possibly sparked by Richard Keys *ahem*, that Juventus would unveil Cristiano Ronaldo today.

That simply isn't going to happen as the Portuguese is on holiday with his family following his World Cup exploits.

But talks over a potential move to Juve - as well as signing a new Real Madrid contract - remain ongoing, and according to the Daily Mail Madrid will make Ronaldo address fans to announce that he wasn't forced out of the Bernabeui, should he leave.

The midfielder, who missed out on a place in the England squad for the World Cup, has been locked in negotiations with the east London club for more than a week and despite fears that a deal could be scuppered over the length of his contract, it seems as though progress has been made.

The Sun claims that Wilshere will put pen to paper on a three-year-deal worth around £100,000-a-week, while ensuring that he can keep his family in London.

If there's one thing that's clear, it's that Arsenal are not done with their summer business by any stretch.

With Emery determined to strengthen his midfield, and despite the north London club looking certain to land Uruguayan Lucas Torreira, the Gunners are plotting a move for Barcelona's Andre Gomes.

However, that would mean selling a number of current players as Emery is close to using up all of the £50m that he was given to spend in the transfer window.
