Welcome to the Evening Standard’s LIVE coverage of the summer transfer window.
Standard Sport understands that Everton are ready to rival Arsenal for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
Arsenal have so far been viewed as the frontrunners to sign the Ivorian, who is valued by Crystal Palace at around £80million, but we now understand Everton are in the running too.
Meanwhile, Tottenham could bolster their attacking options by re-signing Fernando Llorente.
The 34-year-old is free agent after his £100,000-a-week Spurs contract expired on June 30 and the club has offered him a new one-year deal on reduced terms.
