Transfer news, rumours LIVE: Arsenal bid for defender, Dybala's Man Utd salary; Tottenham, Chelsea gossip

Arsenal have launched a bid to sign Juventus defender Daniele Rugani on a two-year loan deal, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Gunners face something of a defensive crisis this season with Shkodran Mustafi up for sale, Laurent Koscielny set to depart and new signing William Saliba not available until next summer.

Meanwhile, Paulo Dybala is demanding a post-tax salary of about £10million a year to move to Manchester United, according to The Times.

Dybala will hold talks with Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri on Thursday ahead of a possible to to Old Trafford, with Romelu Lukaku set to move the other way.

When does the window open and shut for the rest of Europe?

England

Transfer deadline day is on Thursday, August 8, 2019, and the window slams shut at 5pm BST.

France

The Ligue 1 window opens on June 16 and closes on September 2.

Spain

The Liga window opens on July 1 and closes on September 2.

Germany

The Bundesliga window opens on July 1 and closes on September 2.

Italy

The Serie A window opens on July 1 and closes on August 23.
