Transfer news, rumours LIVE - Anthony Martial leaves Manchester United tour, Chelsea ready to sell Thibaut Courtois, Liverpool and Arsenal latest

The Premier League’s summer transfer window is open with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal busier than ever.

Liverpool enjoyed success in the Champions League this year and their quest to end their league title drought in 2019 will be bolstered by the arrival of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig. He will not be the last new face on Merseyside, however, with Monaco's Fabinho already in. Roma's Alisson is next and could Lyon's Nabil Fekir follow? At United Jose Mourinho looks set to spend big again as he targets reinforcements in his bid to haul in record-breaking Manchester City next season. He's got Fred but another central midfield player is high on his list with a big money move for Real Madrid's Gareth Bale not out the question.

For the first time in over two decades Arsenal head into the offseason with a new manager at the helm. That man is former PSG boss Unai Emery after a stunning 11th hour change of heart at the Emirates and he already has four new signings and plenty more on the way with more on his shopping list. Chelsea have a new manager themselves after appointing Maurizio Sarri with the future of Eden Hazard high on his agenda but across London Mauricio Pochettino won't be leaving Tottenham Hotspur after signing a new five-year deal.

We will have all the latest news, views, rumours, gossip and done deals right here so don't touch that dial.

WEST HAM NEWS
10:45

Manuel Pellegrini insists he has no concerns about the off-field tension which boiled over at West Ham last season.

Supporters frustrated by poor performances and angry at the club's move from Upton Park to the London Stadium invaded the pitch and demonstrated against the club's board during the Hammers' 3-0 home defeat to Burnley in March.

Owners David Sullivan and David Gold have gone some way to appeasing those fans by shelling out almost £100million on seven new players this summer.

And Pellegrini, who will be taking charge of the 14th club of his well-travelled career, says he will not shy away from the challenge.

New signing Jorginho is helping Chelsea adapt to Maurizio Sarri's tactical system says Marcos Alonso.

Jorginho played under the Italian for three seasons at Napoli and joined Chelsea shortly after Sarri's appointment earlier this month.

"He is used to playing this way, and he is going to be a great help for everybody. He is giving us tips to get used to this way of playing," Alonso said.

"We are working on a new formation, a new style that he is asking of us.

"He wants us to press high, he wants the team to be together, to have possession of the ball. "

England and Leicester star Harry Maguire, Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld and Milan's Leonardo Bonucci have been earmarked as potential defending targets by Manchester United, the Daily Mail reports.

Landing Maguire, 25, could cost United up to £65million and would likely see Mourinho have to sell one of his centre-backs, the paper says.

United reportedly enquired about Alderweireld in May, while Bonucci is said to be on a watch list.

ARSENAL NEWS
10:00
Unai Emery is ready to sell Danny Welbeck, The Sun reports.

Everton could stump up £15million for the England striker, who has not yet been offered an extension to his contact, which is up in a year, the paper says.

Goalkeeper David Ospina and forward Lucas Perez could also be put on the market, according to The Sun.

Having only scored 15 Premier League goals in four seasons, Welbeck could be passed over for the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette in Emery's long-term plans.

Willian's future remains firmly up in the air.

The Blues are said to prefer the prospect of selling the Manchester United target abroad, rather than to a Premier League rival.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and owner Roman Abramovich are said to be meeting to discuss possible departures and signings by new manager Maurizio Sarri this week.

But Barcelona's signing of Malcom could complicate matters even further.

SPURS NEWS

Jack Grealish will make it clear to Aston Villa's owners that he wants to pursue his dreams of Champions League football and join Tottenham, the Daily Telegraph reports.

Spurs are said to be ready to make an offer for the 22-year-old attacking midfielder as soon as this week.

After a reported £55million takeover by Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens eased Villa's financial concerns the club will be less inclined to sell their talisman.

However ambitious Grealish is said to want out and Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly determined to sign him this summer.

MANCHESTER CITY NEWS
09:15
Raheem Sterling's calculation that a blinding World Cup would bolster his position in contract talks with Manchester City appears to have backfired, the Daily Mirror reports.

The England star is said to have been seeking improved personal terms to his £170,000-a-week deal, although he delayed talks until after his return from Russia.

While the Three Lions' campaign won plaudits, Sterling's value is said to have remained relatively constant and attention from big international clubs has not been forthcoming.

His contract with City is up in 2020, although he will have to sign an extension before next summer, the paper says.

Manchester United are also said to be monitoring the situation according to ESPN.

EVERTON NEWS
08:45

Everton have completed the signing of Richarlison from Watford, the first of Marco Silva’s reign as manager.

Richarlison, who was signed by Silva at Watford last summer, underwent a successful medical on Monday and arrives at Goodison Park on a five-year contract.

The deal, totalling £40m, will not surpass Everton’s current transfer record – Gylfi Sigurdsson’s £45m arrival from Swansea City last year.

FC Barcelona have gazumped AS Roma to seal a last-minute deal for Malcom

The Serie A giants announced a deal had been agreed with Bordeaux for the transfer of the Brazilian winger on Monday, only for Barca to swoop in at the last minute and sign him instead.

Malcom, 21, scored 12 goals in 35 Ligue 1 games last season and was heavily linked with Arsenal in January. The North Londoners pulled out of a prospective transfer as the price spiralled but after the youngster's form dipped in the second half of the season, Bordeaux decided that they were happy to let him go for north of €40m (£35m).

Roma agreed a €43m deal to sign the player and announced that it would be ratified pending a medical but Barcelona matched that offer and were able to convince the wideman that he had better prospects at the Nou Camp, where he will earn a similar wage to what the Romans had promised.

MANCHESTER UNITED NEWS

Manchester United are now considering alternatives to Willian, with Croatia’s World Cup star Ante Rebic the latest name to attract his attention.

The Portuguese is determined to bring in the type of wide player he feels is essential to his system this summer and, although Willian has long been his primary target from their time together at Chelsea, the difficulty of a deal has led to United looking at other targets.

It’s just that, continuing what has already been a frustrating summer, there are similar complications with other options.

MANCHESTER UNITED NEWS

Anthony Martial has returned to the United Kingdom from Manchester United's tour of the United States, and while the official reason is for the Frenchman to attend the birth of his second child, his future at Old Trafford looks very much in the balance.

United manager Jose Mourinho is understood to be willing to selling the 22-year-old this summer, so long as they can find an overseas club interested in him.

United are determined not to sell the former Monaco forward to a Premier League rival in case he goes on to fulfil his potential.
