Transfer news round-up: Everton face Richarlison battle, Antoine Griezmann offered to Chelsea

Everton might have a new manager but they could have a hard time trying to keep hold of their star man.

Richarlison is of interest to Real Madrid, who have just appointed former Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti.

That said, the Spanish side do not have the financial might of old so securing a deal may prove challenging.

Several big names have already headed to the Premier League with Liverpool signing Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.

Manchester United are close to completing a deal for Jadon Sancho and have also been linked with Raphael Varane.

Meanwhile their rivals Chelsea and Manchester City are both on the lookout for a new frontman, and will not be short of options.

Here are some of the latest transfer rumours from the Premier League.

Carlo eyes Richarlison

Real Madrid manager Ancelotti wants a reunion with Everton striker Richarlison after his return Spain.

The Italian left his post at Goodison Park to take up a second spell managing Los Blancos.

Goal report that Ancelotti wants to bring the forward to the Bernabeu once he has finished with his Copa America duties

It will take a hefty offer to convince Everton to sell however and Madrid do not have the financial power they once had.

A stadium renovation is coming at a huge cost meaning money for player sales may be impacted.

Griezmann offered to Prem duo

Barcelona are willing to offer Antoine Griezmann to either Chelsea or Manchester City, reports the Star.

The forward has been unable to replicate the form he showed so regularly during his Atletico Madrid days.

The Spanish side won't be able to recoup the entirety of the fee they paid but their immediate concerns is slashing their wage bill.

The Catalans are struggling financially and need to make changes to ensure they can afford Lionel Messi’s new contract.

Griezmann would no doubt be of interest to the Premier League duo, who are both on the lookout for a new striker.

Saints close on double signing

Southampton are closing in on a double signing as Ralph Hasenhuttl continues to bolster his options.

A deal is close to being agreed for Manchester United's Brandon Williams to join the south coast side on loan.

The Saints are also in talks with Blackburn over a permanent move for Stuart Armstrong, who scored 29 goals last season in the Championship.

Southampton have already lost Ryan Bertrand, who left the club for Leicester, and endured a poor end to the season.
