Liverpool enjoyed success in the Champions League this year and their quest to end their league title drought in 2019 will be bolstered by the arrival of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig. He will not be the last new face on Merseyside, however, with Monaco's Fabinho already in. Lyon's NabilFekir is next on JurgenKlopp'shitlist. At United Jose Mourinho looks set to spend big again as he targets reinforcements in his bid to haul in record-breaking Manchester City next season. A new left-back and central midfield player are high on his list with a big money move for Real Madrid's Gareth Bale not out the question. Could Cristiano Ronaldo join him?
For the first time in over two decades Arsenal head into the offseason with a new manager at the helm. That man is former PSG boss Unai Emery after a stunning 11th hour change of heart at the Emirates and he already has one new signing and more on the way. Chelsea could well be looking for a new manager themselves but across London Mauricio Pochettino won't be leaving Tottenham Hotspur after signing a new five-year deal. Or will he after ZinedineZidane stepped down at Real Madrid?
We will have all the latest news, views, rumours, gossip and done deals right here so don't touch that dial.
Arsenal will need to trigger Steven N’Zonzi’s £35m release clause if they want to sign the midfielder, Sevilla’s director of football has said.
“Is that a rumour or is it true?” he posed to Radio Seville .
“Has Unai Emery called you? Well, as a successful man, Unai Emery knows what line the club keeps.
“If he wants N’Zonzi, he will have to call and put the bid in. And the bid is the clause. If you put that bid in, then there are no more negotiations [over the fee].”
“I’m not in touch with anyone yet,” de Ligt told Italian outlet Tutto Mercato after Holland’s 1-1 draw with Italy on Monday night. “I’m here with my national team, focused on this.
“Of course, it’s a real honour to be associated with some big clubs but it does not change for me, I just have to continue to play well.
“I hope I can grow as much as possible and that’s why it’s important to play every week at high levels.
“Who would I choose between Juve, Barcelona and United? It’s difficult, they’re all great teams.
“We must think about it, understand what is the best step to do. At the moment I do not know, I’m on vacation and I can think about it.”
Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Diogo Dalot from FC Porto on a five-year contract. The deal includes the option to extend his stay at the club by a further year.
The 19-year-old, who joins for a reported £19.3m, follows Fred as United's second signing of the window as Jose Mourinho attempts to push through the club's summer business ahead of this month's World Cup.
Highly rated across Europe, Dalot rose through the ranks of Porto's youth system before making his senior debut in Portugal's Primeira Liga last season.
Aston Villa have slapped a £30million price tag on midfielder Jack Grealish and won't sell him on the cheap despite their mounting financial problems.
The cash-strapped midlands club are determined they will not be held to ransom. Grealish is Villa's best option of raising a quick lump sum of cash as they look for £40million to comply with Financial Fair Play rules, but they will hold firm on their valuation.
The Swiss winger was part of the Stoke City side relegated last season and has been clear about his plans to exercise a relegation release clause written into his contract with the Potters.
Jose Mourinho is now unlikely to sign a left-back in this transfer window, and is becoming more concerned with devoting that area of his budget to a back-up for Romelu Lukaku.
Manchester United have had long-standing interest in both Alex Sandro of Juventus and Kieran Tierney of Celtic and, with Luke Shaw having repeatedly struggled to assert himself, the manager had been expected to push for an upgrade.
The Independent has now been told that Mourinho is prepared to put off a signing in that area and stick with Shaw and first-choice Ashley Young, the latter of whom was one of United's best performers last season.
Let's start with Leicester, who yesterday confirmed Johnny Evans as their first signing of the summer.
The 30-year-old has signed a three-year contract in a deal believed to be worth £3.5m, with Leicester triggering the clause that only came into effect if the Baggies were relegated from the Premier League.
They rejected an £18m bid for him 12 months ago...
Manchester City are Premier League champions and everyone else are getting set to spend, spend, spend to catch them.
One of those tasked with doing so will be Unai Emery after the former PSG boss emerged as an 11th hour candidate to take over from Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
Liverpool have made the biggest splash though in signing Fabinho from Monaco but he won't be the last new face at Anfield with Nabil Fekir on his way imminently.
Zinedine Zidane is no longer Real Madrid manager leaving the 13-time European champions in need of a new one - could Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino be that man?
