Transfer news LIVE: Bruno Fernandes to Man United deal close, Tottenham agree Bergwijn fee as Lo Celso signs

Welcome to the Evening Standard’s live coverage of the January Transfer Window with just over three days left to negotiate.

It’s been a busy day at Tottenham as confirmation of Christian Eriksen’s transfer to Inter Milan was swiftly followed up with the announcement that Giovani Lo Celso’s loan move from Real Metis had become permanent.

Oh, and Spurs have also agreed a £25million deal with PSV for Netherlands winger Steven Bergwijn.

Elsewhere, Manchester United have made significant progress in their bid to sign Bruno Fernandes, confident they have now wrapped up a deal.

United will pay €55million (£46.5m) up front, plus €10m in achievable add-ons to land Fernandes this month.

Stay tuned to Standard Sport for all the latest from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Tottenham, the rest of the Premier League and Europe.
