Clubs in the UK will have until 5pm on Friday October 16 to complete domestic transfers, but the big moves had to be completed by 11pm BST on Monday.
Arsenal sealed a dramatic late deal for Thomas Partey after triggering his £45million release clause, following the news that Houssem Aouar would be staying at Lyon for another season.
Manchester United announced four signings, with Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri confirmed with Amad Diallo Traore to join the club in January.
Tottenham, meanwhile, decided against a late move for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar but have entered talks with Swansea over Joe Rodon - and they have until October 16 to seal that move.
