Tottenham are hoping to secure two huge deals before the summer transfer deadline.
Standard Sport understands Spurs are now favourites to sign Philippe Coutinho on loan after the Brazil international was offered to them, Arsenal and Manchester United.
Tottenham have also had a €70m bid for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala accepted, according to reports. The club are still to agree personal terms with the Argentina international – something United failed to do last week.
High profile additions in north London could pave the way for Christian Eriksen’s exit. United are hopeful of agreeing terms with the Dane with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eager to make another midfield addition.
Former Spurs striker Fernando Llorente has also been linked with a shock move to Old Trafford.

England
Transfer deadline day is on Thursday, August 8, 2019, and the window slams shut at 5pm BST.
France
The Ligue 1 window opens on June 16 and closes on September 2.
Spain
The Liga window opens on July 1 and closes on September 2.
Germany
The Bundesliga window opens on July 1 and closes on September 2.
Italy
The Serie A window opens on July 1 and closes on August 23.
