Hello and welcome to the Evening Standard's live coverage as the January transfer window officially opens for business.
Several high-profile deals have officially gone through already today, including Takumi Minamino's switch to Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund's high-profile swoop for Erling Braut Haaland.
Unsurprisingly the rumour mill has gone into overdrive with the window now open, with The Times reporting that Chelsea could offer Olivier Giroud as part of any deal for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha - but Frank Lampard insists it not a deal which he has "considered."
Tottenham have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Leicester right-back Ricardo Pereira, say The Express, while Arsenal's Granit Xhaka appears on the verge of completing a loan move to Hertha Berlin - and Eddie Nketiah is heading back to the Gunners from his loan spell at Leeds.
And rumours about Paul Pogba's United future will not go away, with the midfielder now out "for a few weeks" with a fresh ankle injury setback - that's accordingly to Ole Gunner Solskjaer, at least...
Stay tuned as we bring you all the latest rumours and done deals....
