The Premier League's January transfer window is in full swing with clubs up and down the country set to be busy ahead of the deadline.
Arsenal could be one of the busiest moves and shakers before the end of the month with Bayern Munich's James Rodriguez a surprise loan target. Barcelona's Denis Suarez is another who could arrive on a short-term deal. Manchester United only managed to get two new faces through the door in the summer and with new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer flying attentions have turned to keeping some of their current stars around. Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial could both be set for new and improved contracts at Old Trafford.
Out of form Chelsea need reinforcements with Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain set to arrive with a number of midfielders including Zenit's Leandro Paredes and Cagliari's Nicolo Barella also possible arrivals while Tottenham will hope to add cover for the injured Harry Kane before the window shuts.

"You know very well that Eden is at the moment a wonderful player, but he's an individual player.
"He's a very instinctive player. For him it's very difficult to play only in one position. He likes very much to go to the ball.
"He wants the ball on the feet. So for him I think it's very difficult to play as a striker, but it's very difficult to play also as a winger. We have to organise the other 10 players in the defensive phase."
Unai Emery has said that Arsenal are “working hard” to sign a new midfielder ahead of the January transfer deadline, after long-term target Denis Suárez was this morning left out of the Barcelona squad for Wednesday’s Copa del Rey game against Sevilla.
Suárez was a first-team regular for Barcelona under Luis Enrique two seasons ago, but has found it difficult to hold down a regular starting place since Ernesto Valverde was appointed head coach in May 2017.
The 25-year-old central midfielder has played just 17 minutes in La Liga this season, with Valverde conceding at Kevin-Prince Boateng’s unveiling on Tuesday that Suárez could leave the club.
And although Emery stopped short of confirming the club were close to signing Suárez — instead insisting that he “did not want to speak about individual players” — he did admit that the club were working to sign a player fitting the Spaniard’s profile, as well as a defender.

Beckham’s secural of a 10 per cent share means that the Class of ‘92 are now majority shareholders in the National League club, owning a total of 60 per cent.
The 43-year-old joins former team-mates Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt on the board.
"It is so clear, I am so open to improve the squad and add a player if Harry Kane and Dele Alli are fit or not fit. I was open in the summer and I am open now.
"The difficult thing is to find quality that will add to the squad. We are not going to change strategy, we are working, we will see what happens at the end."

Roma’s Monchi is one of the top names being considered for Arsenal’s technical director, and there is a growing feeling a deal can be done.
The Gunners are pressing ahead with restructuring of the technical staff, in moves that played a part in Sven Mislintat’s impending departure.
The outgoing head of recruitment had initially been seen as a candidate for technical director, but main target Monchi is probably one of the few football figures in Europe with a reputation equal to that of Mislintat for finding players, and would represent another coup.
Roma are said to be bracing themselves for the departure of the 50-year-old, who only joined from Sevilla in April 2017, signing a four-year contract. It was at the Spanish club that Monchi - full name Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo - enjoyed a close relationship with current Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
