Mo Diomande is confident Derek McInnes can bring silverware to Rangers.
The 24-year-old midfielder joined the club in January 2024 and is now working under his fifth manager in under three years.
Despite the frequent changes, Diomande insists he is committed to Rangers and is looking forward to the upcoming season under McInnes. Diomande said: "I’m happy here and I think the club are happy with me.
"When I speak to the manager, he wants me here. So I would say I’m happy, I want to continue as much as I can, and I want to continue because I’m still under contract.
"I want to give my best for the team."
The Ivory Coast international faces increased competition in midfield and speculation over his future due to the club's recent signings.
However, he is determined to impress McInnes during pre-season and believes he has a unique quality that will earn him a spot in the team. He added: "I need to do what I need to do to make the manager see my qualities.
"I’m doing that in training every day, I try to show the positive parts of my game. I know it’s a healthy competition because a lot of good players have been brought in with different qualities.
"I believe I have something special that the gaffer is going to see and he’s going to put me in the team."
Diomande believes Rangers are already adapting well to McInnes’ demands following a productive pre-season campaign. He said: "Pre-season has been amazing and it’s been a lot of work.

Diomande is also optimistic about McInnes’ leadership, describing him as a "good guy" and a "good human."
Having experienced frequent managerial changes since arriving at Ibrox, Diomande admits the prospect of stability under McInnes is a positive and believes the new boss has the experience to take Rangers forward.
He said: "I’ve had different types of managers and I would say he’s a good guy, a good human. He brings good positive energy, he speaks to a lot of players, and I really like those characteristics. I believe he knows the league, he knows the team and the history of the club.
"He’s worked under pressure before and I think he has the experience to push us to where we need to be."
Diomande also praised the arrival of former Hearts midfielder Cammy Devlin, highlighting the Australian’s impact on the squad. He said: "It’s definitely better to play with Cammy.
"He’s a guy who really pushes people and he doesn’t need to talk much. When you see him run, it’s effective, it’s contagious. If I see him do that, I’m like, ‘yeah, I want to do the same’. It’s good to have him in the squad.
"He brings something we maybe didn’t have."
