How much Chelsea and Liverpool must pay for Jadon Sancho as transfer experts reveal value

Jadon Sancho will have noshortage of suitors in the summer transfer window.

But interested parties are going to have to dig really deep into their pockets to tear him away from Borussia Dortmund.

That is because the Dortmund ace has been named as the most valuable player in Europe born in the 2000s.

That’s according to a list of the top 50 most valuable players in the big five European leagues born in this millennium, which is based on estimated transfer values using the CIES football observatory algorithm.

Sancho is a long way out in front on the list, with an estimated transfer value of €198.5million.

His Borussia Dortmund team-mate Erling Haaland is second on the list, with an estimated transfer value of €101million.

The most expensive Premier League transfers ever

Real Madrid duo Rodrygo Goes (€88.9million) and Vinicius Junior (€73.9million) are third and fourth on the list, with Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi (€72.3million) completing the top five.

But Sancho’s position at the top of the list shows that Chelsea, Manchester United or Liverpool are likely to have to spend big to sign the England international this summer.

Both clubs have been strongly linked with the 19-year-old, whose contract at Dortmund runs until 2022.

Sancho has been in fine form for the Bundesliga side this season, scoring 17 goals in 35 appearances for the German club.

He has also scored two goals in five appearances for England so far this season.

His form has attracted plenty of attention from across Europe, with a return to the Premier League mooted ahead of the summer transfer window.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked, but Sancho will not come cheap for any of them.
