Transfer decision made over Spurs target Paulo Dybala, Neymar talks continue - European rumours

The European window is still open, with clubs around Europe looking to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.

With the window closing tomorrow (Monday), several clubs are still looking to improve their squad by completing last-minute transfers.

So, here are the latest European transfer rumours.

Juventus close in on Boateng

Jerome Boateng is reportedly close to joining Juventus, with the defender keen on a move away from Bayern Munich, according to Sky Sports.

It looks like there will be no new players joining the club before the window closes, however, there could be departures at Die Roten before the end of the transfer window, with Boateng the most notable player with an uncertain future at the club.

Bayern have added to their defence with Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard both arriving at the club from Atletico Madrid and VfB Stuttgart, respectively, whilst Mats Hummels decided to join Borussia Dortmund.

Dybala set to stay at Juventus

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has ruled out the possibility of Paulo Dybala leaving before the transfer window closes.

He was heavily linked with Manchester United and Tottenham towards the end of the Premier League window - only for potential deals to fall through.

Paratici said: “We can absolutely rule out Dybala leaving this summer. We can exclude that as a possibility,” he told Sky Italy before Saturday's Serie A clash with Napoli.

Barcelona pulled plug on Neymar transfer

Spanish publication El Confidencial report that Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu cancelled Neymar’s transfer because he feels the Brazilian has tarnished his reputation with his off-field antics at PSG.

As well as bad behaviour, Los Cules also think that the Brazilian’s value has decreased during his time at the Parc des Princes.

Neymar was said to be keen on rejoining Barcelona to reunite with Lionel Messi, despite him being one of the reasons why he left two years ago, but he is now set to stay at PSG.

Real Madrid are now reportedly holding talks with Neymar, according to reports.

Former Arsenal youngster set for Holland move

Barcelona midfielder Marcus McGuane is set to complete a surprise move to Dutch second division side Telstar on a season-long loan.

England youth international McGuane, 20, joined Barca from the Gunners in 2018 and made his debut for Ernesto Valverde's side shortly after as a substitute in the Catalan Super Cup final.

However, that was his only involvement with the first team and his appearances for the B team have also decreased since Garcia Pimienta replaced Gerard Lopez as coach.
