Transfer decision made on Nottingham Forest midfielder - report

Nottingham Forest midfielder Tyrese Fornah is reportedly set to join Macclesfield Town on loan.

We reported yesterday that three clubs were interested in taking the 20-year-old for the remainder of the season.

And it looked like the youngster is on his way to Macclesfield rather than Mansfield Town or Crewe.

Football Insider reports that Macclesfield are in advanced talks with over a deal for the player.

Fornah made his senior debut for the Reds in the FA Cup third round defeat at Chelsea earlier this month.

He has been a regular member of Forest's under-23 team this term, and signed a new contract with the club in December.

Macclesfield are currently third from bottom of League Two - just two points clear of the relegation zone.

They are in action this evening, at home to Crewe.
