Transfer blow for Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea as Serie A ace drops major hint about his future

AS Roma winger Cengiz Under has been discussing his future and it's not great news for Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal or Chelsea.

It was reported by Italian publication  Corriere dello Sport last month that the Turkey international could be made available this summer, especially if Roma - who are currently fifth in Serie A - fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

This came hot on the heels of Tuttomercatoweb claim that the winger has a price-tag of €50m (£45m) and Roma are refusing to budge from this stance having reportedly already rejected a €32m (£27m) bid from the Gunners in the build up to the January transfer window.

London rivals Chelsea have also been linked with a move for 21-year-old, but these rumours surfaced long before the club were hit with a two-window transfer ban.

Furthermore, Spurs are reportedly interested in Under as Mauricio Pochettino looks to bolster his squad ahead of the new season.

However, it would appear that the trio of London clubs will be left disappointed should they wish to sign Under as he's hinted at a future move to Manchester City so he can play alongside David Silva.

"I have always said that it's very nice to watch other great players, but one should always take himself as an example," he told Goal . "You need to be self-critical and you need to improve yourself – I always watch my own videos after games.

"The one player I really like watching and admire is David Silva. I used to watch his videos often and I like his playing style very much.

"I love him, so I hope we can play together some day!"

Out wide is where Pep Guardiola is spoilt for choice at the moment.

Raheem Sterling is very much a regular in a 4-3-3 formation and that's left Riyad Mahrez, Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva battling it out for the other spot.
