Tramaine Brock, Zach Zenner both get claimed by other teams

The Arizona Cardinals cut ties with a pair of players on Monday. They waived running back Zach Zenner and cornerback Tramaine Brock. Both have landed with other teams.

Zenner lands with the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Miami placed running back Kalen Ballage on injured reserve. Zenner played in three games with the Cardinals but did not do much. He had three rushed for minus-two yards and one catch for 13 yards.

He was no longer needed because Kenyan Drake, acquired via trade from the Dolphins, David Johnson and Chase Edmonds are all now healthy. Zenner signed with the Cardinals in October.

Brock, who was a surprise cut by the Cardinals, lands with the Tennessee Titans. They claimed him off waivers, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garofolo.

Brock was the casualty on the defense after the Cardinals suffered a 34-7 loss. He was let go so the team could look at young players Chris Jones and Kevin Peterson.

Brock started six games while Patrick Peterson was suspended and then was the team’s third cornerback.

He now joins a team in the thick of the AFC playoff race.
