'Tram it, bus it, walk it, bike it': They're at it again... transport bosses put up Spice Girls traffic sign

Transport bosses are at it again with their witty traffic signs - and this time they're ready for the Spice Girls tour.

The decade-defining girl group head to Manchester for three shows at the Etihad Stadium this week after an opening show in Dublin.

Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell, Scary Spice Mel B, Sport Spice Mel C and Baby Spice Emma Bunton will reunite in the name of Girl Power and perform their biggest hits.

Thousands of fans will fill the Manchester City's stadium on Wednesday, May 29, Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1.

Traffic on the roads and public transport are expected to be extremely busy on all three days.

Ahead of the shows, transport bosses couldn't resist paying homage to the group.

The sign, spotted by a Twitter user, said: "Tram it, bus it, walk it, bike it.

"Show us how good you are!"

The sign imitates the lyrics to the girl group's massive hit 'Who Do You Think You Are'.

The woman who spotted it tweeted: "Transport for Greater Manchester absolutely spicing up my life this morning!"

TfGM has been displaying a number of funny traffic signs in recent weeks.

Most of them were football-themed, with traffic chiefs digging at Liverpool FC with a cheeky Man City pre-match sign and mocking the VAR misery for City fans.
