Tram crashed into ambulance response car in Nottingham city centre

A tram collided with an ambulance in Nottingham city centre on Friday afternoon (September 23). A witness said the collision happened near the Theatre Royal, near the traffic lights at the end of Goldsmith Street.

The incident reportedly happened shortly before 3pm. A photo from the scene shows that the collision caused damage to the front of the ambulance response car.

No injuries were reported at the scene and everyone involved is believed to be OK. On Friday, a spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service said: “One of our fast response cars was involved in a road traffic collision with a tram in Nottingham this afternoon, causing vehicle damage. There were no injuries reported at the scene.”
