Trainspotting star Bradley Welsh hoaxers post CCTV video on YouTube claiming to show shooting

Twisted online hoaxers have posted CCTV images falsely claiming to show the shooting of Bradley Welsh.

The warped YouTube clip is titled ‘Bradley Welsh Shot Dead (Raw Video)’ and it has already attracted more than 3500 views.

The three-second clip shows a hoodie-wearing gunman firing at an unseen target then fleeing.

But the Bradley Welsh murder cops release CCTV of car as probe into Trainspotting star's death continues footage isn’t connected to the slaying of former boxing champion and Trainspotting actor Welsh.

The video instead appears to show an unrelated crime on an unknown city street.

The gunman in the video is shown standing beside a car shooting into the shadows in darkness with street lights on.

Welsh was shot dead near his home in Chester Street in Edinburgh’s West End at around 8pm nearly two weeks ago when it was still daylight.

A pal of dad-of-one Welsh slammed the fake footage, telling the Record: “The person who posted this is a complete idiot.

“There’s bound to be people who believe it’s real. It’s just trying to get a few cheap clicks using Brad’s name and memory.

“Whoever posted it needs to take it down and get a life.”
