Hundreds of people have paid tribute to a Trainspotting actor who was shot dead on the streets of Edinburgh last night.
Bradley Welsh was gunned down on Chester Street in the capital last night at around 8.30pm.
He was rushed to hospital where he died shortly after 11pm.
Welsh, 42, who played gangland kingpin Doyle in the second installment of the Trainspotting, was also a former British ABA Lightweight boxing champion and charity worker.

Bradley, a Hibs fan who appeared on Danny Dyer’s Deadliest Men TV show in 2009, help kids stay fit and out of trouble through his Holyrood Boxing Gym.
Lots of people took to social media following news of his death to pay tribute and praise Bradley for his charity and community work.
Twtter user @stuboxing tweeted: "RIP Bradley Welsh.
"You taught me how to box & everyone loved being with you in your gym.
"Many kids will be fitter & better people because of your work, not to mention charity work. Shocked this has happened in our fine city."
Twitter user Badgie said Bradley said: "Sad to hear the news about Bradley Welsh.
"Didn’t know him personally but just recently had a few interactions on here with him through boxing and training.
"By all accounts a cracking guy who done fantastic work for the kids and the community in Edinburgh. RIP Brad."
Sam Kynoch wrote on Twitter: "RIP Bradley Welsh. My thoughts are with your family at this sad time x."
Anthony McShane commented: "RIP Bradley Welsh sorry for loss to everyone @ holyroodboxing he was a true gent and done so much for the community! Sad world!"
Jordan Brown took to social media to say he hopes the hard work done by Bradley can continue.
He wrote: "The affect last nights news is having on this city speaks volumes.
"Was clear to see the class work Bradley Welsh was doing for our communities and I hope that this can be continued in his honour."
Bradley was part of notorious Hibs casuals the Capital City Service in the 1980s.
Hibs supporters group, Hibs Central tweeted: "Rest in peace Bradley Welsh. A good Hibee taken far too soon."
Trainspotting writer Irvine Welsh also paid tribute, tweeting: "Bradley John Welsh, my heart is broken.
"Goodbye my amazing and beautiful friend.
"Thanks for making me a better person and helping me to see the world in a kinder and wiser way."

A Police Scotland statement read: "Police in Edinburgh received a report of a disturbance in Chester Street at around 8pm on Wednesday 17th April.
"On arrival of emergency services a man was found seriously injured and sadly passed away at the scene.
"His death is being treated as suspicious and inquiries are continuing.

"Officers will continue to provide a high-visibility presence in the area to engage with the public, offer reassurance and gather information that can assist with this investigation.
"Anyone who believes they have any relevant information should contact police immediately."
