The final moments of Trainspotting 2 star Bradley Welsh have been revealed.
The actor and charity worker was walking home from the Holyrood Boxing Gym in Edinburgh at around 8pm on Wednesday when he was shot dead in what police believe may have been a targeted attack.
During a press conference, officers say Bradley, 42, had stopped to speak to a neighbour in Chester Street when the attack happened - with the neighbour frantically trying to save his life, as Edinburgh Live reports.
Detectives also revealed that the actor's partner and daughter were waiting inside for him when the horror incident unfolded.
They only discovered what happened when officers arrived at the scene.

Detective Supt Allan Burton said: "He just said hello to his neighbour.
"He was walking back to his apartment, a person has appeared at the top of the steps and shot him.
“He may have been waiting for Mr Welsh to come back. The neighbour went over and found Mr Welsh’s body, he tried to give first aid."
He continued: ""Mr Welsh's partner and young daughter were in the house at the time when this took place.
"Thankfully they were unaware - they never heard the bang, if you like."
"8pm was still daylight, there are vehicles who were travelling past with dashcams that could have captured this incident or the person responsible making his way from the scene.
“Again I would appeal - a man has been killed as he was entering his home address in this close community in this central area of Edinburgh .
“We’re treating this as a murder and we’re appealing for anyone out there to come forward who may have information that will lead to the arrest of the culprit or those responsible.”

Bradley played gangland kingpin Doyle in T2 and is pals with its author Irvine Welsh.
Welsh was a past British ABA Lightweight boxing champion and has run charity projects in the city to help young people stay fit and out of trouble through his Holyrood Boxing Gym.
He’s also involved with Edinburgh charity Helping Hands which fights inequality in the city.
In 2009 he appeared on Danny Dyer’s Deadliest Men TV show.

Police are not yet able to confirm when the cordon will be lifted, and have put extra patrols in place to help reassure locals.
