Trains suspended at Argyle Street Station as passenger takes ill

A passenger incident at Glasgow 's Argyle Street has seen trains through the station suspended as emergency services race to respond.

At around 8.30pm police and paramedics were called to the scene amid reports someone had taken ill.

Trains are now not stopping at Argyle Street,

Travellers are being advised to use Glasgow Central Low Level instead.

A ScotRail spokesperson said: "Due to a passenger taking ill at Argyle Street Station, trains are currently not stopping here.

"Please use Glasgow Central Low Level if you can instead.

"Thanks for your understanding.

"We’re working closely with the emergency services."
